The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim is a National Hockey League (NHL) team that is located in Anaheim. They were established in 1993 and Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim is their home ground where they play wearing maroon and green colored uniforms.

They made it to the league as an expansion team in 1993. In the same year they drafted Paul Kariya in the very first round of the NHL Entry Draft. 1920s – The Red Wings go all the way back to the old Western Hockey League, when the Victoria (British Columbia) Cougars were sold to a group from Detroit on September 25, 1926.
